MPG ConnectEvery brand we manage starts with a clean data connection. Instead of monthly export files we work from the reports in your own selling account, refreshed daily. MPG Connect is the application you use to grant us that read-only access, through Amazon's own consent screen, without us ever seeing a password or an API key.
MPG Connect is an application by The Marketplace Guys UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Bielefeld, Germany.
The reason for the data onboarding is simple: we want to back every recommendation with your actual numbers. That needs the data complete, current and in one place.
Reports load automatically every night. We see drops in visibility, stock or buy box within days instead of in a month-end report.
Sales, traffic, search queries, inventory, pricing and costs sit together. Nobody has to reassemble a metric from several exports, and the numbers do not contradict each other.
Every action we propose can be traced back to the report line it came from. You can check any number yourself.
Nobody pulls, renames and emails reports by hand. Your share of the work is a single approval.
Usually done in a single day. Your part is one approval on Amazon's consent screen.
Your brand is created in MPG Connect. You receive a private link: signed, single use, and it expires.
You open the link and approve read-only reporting access on Amazon's consent screen, inside your own Seller Central.
The status in MPG Connect flips to connected and the first report pull starts.
The reporting workspace fills with your brand's reports and refreshes every day.
In Seller Central under Manage your apps you withdraw access in one click. After that MPG Connect can no longer retrieve reports.
No password, no API keys, no seller credentials: MPG Connect only ever receives the token Amazon issues after your approval.
Once access is granted, your brand's reports load into our reporting workspace every night. Each question has its own view, refreshed daily. Your MPG team operates the workspace: you approve the connect link and receive the analysis from us.
Views in the workspace
Revenue, ad spend, ACoS, TACoS and ad share per day and marketplace.
Campaigns by type (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display), state and budget, with spend, sales and ACoS over time.
Keyword performance across the selected window, aggregated, sortable and paginated.
The search terms shoppers actually typed, with impressions, clicks, sales and wasted spend.
Performance by placement: top of search, rest of search and product pages.
ASIN level: sessions, page views, units, revenue and ad share per product.
Search query performance per query and week: share of impressions, clicks and purchases.
Reviews, buy box status and inventory health as a current snapshot with history.
Organic rankings and SERP snapshots for the tracked keyword lists.
Data freshness: which report was pulled when, per brand and marketplace.
MPG Connect requests exactly the reporting roles this analysis needs. None of them carries personally identifiable buyer information.
Role: Brand Analytics
Sessions, page views, conversion, units and ordered revenue by ASIN and by day, plus search query performance per query with impressions, clicks, purchases and your share of each.
Role: Inventory and Order Tracking
Order and sales reports as the basis for listing level performance, from marketplace totals down to a single SKU.
Role: Amazon Fulfillment
FBA inventory data for stock planning: what lasts how long, what needs restocking, where too much is sitting.
Role: Product Listing
Your brand's catalog data as the basis for titles, attributes and the mapping of variations to their parent.
Role: Pricing
Prices and buy box status over time, so price changes and buy box losses surface before they show up in revenue.
Role: Finance and Accounting
Settlement and fee data to set revenue against Amazon costs and calculate contribution per product.
MPG Connect retrieves business reports: sales, traffic, inventory, catalog, pricing and settlements. No role containing personally identifiable buyer information is requested, and no buyer data is processed.
The authorization token is encrypted with AES-256-GCM envelope encryption before it is stored. It never reaches a browser and never appears in a log line.
Tokens are readable only through a server-side service credential, and row level security blocks every other database access. Admin access to MPG Connect requires a login plus a second factor and is limited to a named allowlist.
Every connection to Amazon and to the database uses TLS 1.2 or higher. Report data is held in a managed Postgres database, encrypted at rest.
On revocation or at the end of the engagement the stored token is deleted, not anonymised and kept.
Nothing in your account is changed through MPG Connect: no prices, no listings, no campaigns. The access exists to retrieve reports and nothing else.
Processing details are in our privacy policy.
We charge nothing for MPG Connect or for the onboarding. There is no licence fee, no setup fee, no per-marketplace charge and no cost to revoke. The application is not sold separately either.
